1) Soak a soft cotton cloth in warm water and wipe the body thoroughly. Wipe the body well with a dry cloth and dry it. After that, it should be kept in a warm place in a towel or cloth. A warm place is essential for small children because they cannot tolerate too much cold.

2) Then he should be fed milk. If there is a mother cat in the house who is nursing her babies, she should be given to him. And if there is no such cat, he should be milked. Kittens for orphan kittens at various pet shops Formula and small feeders are available for purchase. But before that, an experienced veterinarian must be contacted.

3) If you can’t arrange these things, you have to feed milk by baby feeder/dropper/syringe. Remember that the baby should be fed face up while feeding (as shown in the picture). Liquid cow’s milk or powdered milk can cause diarrhea in kittens. So mix it with an equal amount of water (1 cup liquid milk = 1 cup water in this ratio), if it is a powder, mix it very thinly and then feed the baby. The baby should be fed every 2-3 hours until four weeks of age.

Orphan Kitten Care Toilet Rules –

A very small child cannot poop and pee alone. The mother cat licks the baby’s stomach and around the anus with her tongue to help them poop and pee. So he has to pee after every feeding. A soft cloth or cotton soaked in warm water should be wiped from his belly to anus i.e. from top to bottom (as shown in the picture) and apply light pressure. If you wipe it like this 2-3 times, the cat will pee and in this way, it should be made to poop 1 time a day.

Then definitely contact an experienced Veterinarian for his check-up.

First, he should be brought and bathed in warm water. Water cannot be poured over the head, only the body must be poured. Wet the hands and wipe the head and care should be taken not to get water in the ears, but if it is a winter day, bathing cannot be done. Then he should be thoroughly wiped and dried so that it is not wet. Then wrap him in a towel or soft cloth to keep him warm and comfortable. If there is a flea on the body, it should be removed by hand.

During this time, the kitten can eat other food besides milk. Kitten Food or any soft food such as fish without thorns, mashed boiled meat, etc. should be given. At this time, the baby should be fed 3-5 times a day and the feeding should be reduced gradually. However, after 8-10 weeks of age, there is no need to breastfeed.
